Analysis of the Results of the Iraqi General Population Census from Statistical, Economic, and Political Perspectives

On 25 January 2026, a symposium entitled “Analysis of the Results of the Iraqi General Population Census from Statistical, Economic, and Political Perspectives” was successfully held, with the participation of nearly 352 attendees. The symposium was organized by the STAT Organization for Statistical Data Analysis and Training, in cooperation with the Department of Statistics and Informatics, College of Administration and Economics, Salahaddin University–Erbil.

At this scientific event, a number of distinguished figures were in attendance, including

During the event, several scientific seminars and panel discussions were presented by academics and experts on the analysis of the general population census. The discussions focused on the results of the census, based on the official data released by the Iraqi Ministry of Planning. The aim of the symposium was also to provide an in-depth scientific explanation of the process.

I participated in the event as the symposium coordinator, keynote speaker, and President of the STAT Organization, providing a comprehensive and objective presentation of the Iraqi General Population Census data, analyzed through statistical, economic, and political perspectives.
